How to set up a porn blocker without giving anyone your password
You can make a blocker genuinely hard to undo without ever handing your Apple ID password to another person. Sharing your password is a bad idea anyway, because it hands over your whole account. Here are two safer ways to make the block stick.
First, never share your Apple ID password
This is worth saying plainly. Your Apple ID is not just your blocker, it is your photos, your messages, your iCloud, your purchases, and your location. Handing it to someone to "hold you accountable" is a large and unnecessary risk. Whatever the goal, there is always a way to get there without giving up your account.
Way 1: a bypass-resistant mode you set on yourself
The most private option involves no one else at all. Escape's Deep Block and Strict Mode add the friction on your own device. Strict Mode puts a cooling-off wait before any protection can be switched off, so your worst five minutes cannot quietly undo the decision you made calmly. A deletion lock makes the app itself hard to just delete and walk away from. No partner, nothing shared, and still hard to bypass. More on how that holds is in a blocker that cannot be bypassed and the cooldown timer.
Way 2: a passcode someone else holds, not your password
If having a person in the loop genuinely helps you, use Screen Time's passcode, the right way. The key move is that they type the 4-digit passcode into your phone, so they hold it and you do not. That code is completely separate from your Apple ID password, and they never see your account. While you are there, set Account Changes and Passcode Changes to Don't Allow, which closes the sign-out bypass. The family-sharing walkthrough covers the full setup.
Which to choose
If you would rather keep it fully private and involve no one, use Deep Block and Strict Mode. If having a trusted person in it helps you follow through, use the held passcode, still without your password ever changing hands. Either way, your account stays yours. Escape's Safari blocker is free to start with no account, and the bypass-resistant modes build on top of it.
