Honest Streak · One question · No record

A question, not a game.

One yes-or-no question per day, from the same pool the iOS app draws from. We don't store your answer. We don't track who answered. The act of answering is the practice.

Tomorrow: a different question. Same pool. Always one a day.

All 30 questions, and what each one is really asking
  1. Did you actively avoid a known trigger today? The work isn't the big moment, it's the hundred small swerves that mean you never reach it.
  2. Did you lie to yourself today? Everyone does. Noticing it is the recovery.
  3. Did you reach for your phone to avoid a feeling? The phone isn't the problem, it's the escape hatch. Notice when you're looking for one.
  4. Is there one person who could ask you honestly about this, and you'd tell the truth? People who have one honest person in their corner tend to do better. If the answer is no, that's the next move.
  5. Were you bored today in a way you haven't named? Boredom is the most under-reported trigger. Name it and the urge loses some of its cover.
  6. Did you get enough sleep last night? Sleep debt is a relapse multiplier. If you slept badly, today is a higher-risk day.
  7. Did you eat a real meal today? HALT: Hungry. Angry. Lonely. Tired. The body keeps score during urges too.
  8. Were you alone more than you wanted to be? Isolation is the habit's best friend. If this is yes, tomorrow's move is on your calendar, not in your head.
  9. Did you scroll past suggestive content and stay on it longer than you meant to? Content that isn't explicit still trains the same patterns. "Not porn" isn't the same as neutral.
  10. Did you move your body for at least 15 minutes? Movement is the fastest anti-urge intervention. Walking counts. Dancing counts. Lifting groceries counts.
  11. Were you stressed today with no way to discharge it? Stress without a valve finds one. Naming it now beats discovering the valve at 11pm.
  12. Did you lose 20+ minutes to a Reel/TikTok rabbit hole? Attention fatigue makes you softer on the next temptation. It's not separate, it's the warm-up.
  13. Did you lie to someone you love today? Little lies build the same muscle big lies use. Notice them while they're small.
  14. If today was a day you repeated forever, would it bother you? An uncomfortable question, asked every day, changes what "today" looks like over time.
  15. Did you tell yourself you "deserved" something that didn't help you? "I deserve this" is a top relapse thought. What you actually deserve is a life that wouldn't make you want to escape.
  16. Did you look at yourself in a mirror today, without judgment? The relationship with yourself is the one you can't leave. Notice how you talk to you.
  17. Did you have one real conversation today? Texting your mom counts. Small talk with a stranger counts. Silent scrolling doesn't.
  18. Did you go outside today? Showing up to daylight, even for a few minutes, is a quiet anti-spiral move.
  19. Did you keep the thing you told yourself you'd do today? Promises to yourself compound like interest. Missing one isn't a failure, but noticing the pattern is the practice.
  20. Is there a loss you haven't let yourself feel yet? Grief that can't go through, goes sideways. Often as a craving.
  21. Did you almost tell someone what you're going through today? Almost is where most people stop. What would it cost to actually tell them tomorrow?
  22. Did you do anything today that tomorrow-you will thank you for? Tomorrow-you is real. They're counting on you for the next decision, not the grand one.
  23. Did you hold your phone in bed in a way that made you feel small? The body knows before the mind admits. Notice the posture you take with temptation.
  24. Did you take the phone into the bathroom today? Private locations + phones is the architecture of most slips. Re-architect the rooms.
  25. Did you close a browser tab you shouldn't have opened? You already know which tab. Closing it mid-intent IS the practice, don't minimize it.
  26. Did you cross a boundary with yourself you set last week? The boundary wasn't wrong. The crossing means you needed it. What triggered the crossing?
  27. Is tomorrow a high-risk day for you (Friday night, unstructured, alone)? If yes, the decision that saves tomorrow night is the one you make right now, plans, phone location, who's expecting you.
  28. Did you push through when your body was clearly saying stop? Ignored signals come back louder. Exhausted decision-makers make exhausted decisions.
  29. Do you feel unseen by the people closest to you right now? Feeling invisible is a powerful urge-driver. You don't always get seen on request, but naming it is the first ask.
  30. Did you think about the old version of yourself today with shame? Past-you did the best they could with what they knew. Shame keeps them in the room. Kindness lets them leave.
