Privacy
The short version.
No accounts. No personal data. Ever. The iOS app stores your progress on your device — never on a server. The website is the only place we collect anything, and what we collect is one thing: an email, only if you give it.
What the iOS app stores
Your streak, your reading progress, your check-ins, and your voice notes (if you make any) live on your device, in iCloud Key-Value Storage if you opt in. They are never sent to us.
If you delete the app, it's gone. If you tap "Delete all my data" in Settings, it's gone — UserDefaults, iCloud KVS, voice notes, Keychain.
What the website stores
Practice tools (Ride the Wave, the Mirror, the 11pm Room, Honest Streak, Today's 5, Spot the Lie) save nothing. They run entirely in your browser and forget on close.
If you give us your email through the for-you quiz, we send you the result and very occasionally a short note. You can reply UNSUBSCRIBE to any email and we'll forget you immediately.
Analytics
The website uses GoatCounter, an open-source privacy-friendly analytics service that counts page views and sees which pages people read. No cookies are set, no personal data is collected, no fingerprinting, and no consent banner is needed. We see aggregate numbers — "how many people visited the homepage today" — never anything about you specifically.
What is sent: page URL, referrer, browser, screen size, country (derived from IP and then the IP is discarded). What is never sent: your IP, your name, anything you type, anything you do inside the practice tools, anything that could identify you.
The iOS app remains fully data-not-collected. The website analytics never touch the app, and never will.
Cookies
None.
Children
The app is rated 17+ on the App Store. The website is not for anyone under 18.
Changes
If we ever change any of the above, the change goes here, in plain language, before it goes live anywhere else.
